Day Out in Paddington
There is more than just bears
Today I explored Paddington. I went by bus. It's a long way from home but I loved spending time there. I was lucky, there was a lot of sunshine. I got to see the wonderful Union Canal. Indeed, as its name suggests, the canal never ends. It's very pleasant to pass by this place, it's restful. I've been asking around in the 'Meanwhile Garden'. I sat down for a few minutes to observe it. It was a large park with small paths, benches where you could sit, plants and trees. There were so many places to admire that I didn't know what to look at. I walked through the streets of Paddington, in the vicinity of the station. I discovered very nice places particularly a fish & chip bar. It makes great food and I had never eaten any before this visit!
All around there are many bars, restaurants and cafes. But there was one café that particularly caught my attention. It was called "Kioskafé". Indeed, we could drink a hot drink and gourmet breakfast at the same time as reading all sorts of publications. The staff are very friendly. I had a hot chocolate which was really delicious. The place is pleasant and quiet and I felt pretty good here. To finish the day I continued walking around taking some pictures for you! Hope you like them.
