East London - So much things to do for the French Man

My next destination in this incredible city was East London, a place which is not boring at all. If you would like to stay the entire day and even the night at the same place, East London is the perfect choice.


My first stop was Brick Lane or "Bric à Brac". Actually, you can almost find whatever you want. Bars, food, books, clothes, or "souvenirs". Brick Lane seems to me like a nice market with various things to do, but you will also enjoy the Vintage Market; I particularly enjoyed the ambiance being a big fan of the 70’s and 80’s. You will be able to visit the market and listen to music from Abba or The Jackson 5. And if that’s not enough, you will be pleased that the most of the sellers in this area are really nice. ;-)


Then, I recommend you go and see the Whitechapel Art Gallery, which is one of the most interesting places I visited in London. Even if Art is not your main passion, you will be amazed by the various exhibitions. Here, creativity is the word. Don’t expect to see something similar in the British Museum or the Science Museum. That is why we can say that Modern Art is really fascinating with a lot of optical illusions. In France we would say "trompe l’œil". This place is really unusual and impressive. "Epoustouflant"


I finally went to Shoreditch, which in the afternoon is nice and calm. Why don’t you take some coffee in the different bars of the neighborhood. But the area is so much more incredible at night. As time passed, and I didn’t do everything I was supposed to, I decided to go back in Shoreditch at night with some friends. And then party began !!. Pub, clubs, bars,… In Shoreditch, you can dance, meet new people, have fun with your friends, drink,… But you need to be sensible from midnight as there are lots of revelers around. It is very congested with traffic at night : I advise you to walk, but not alone because it is safer and more pleasant being in a group. Now you can enjoy and it will be an unforgettable night.
