East End Arthouse Cinema
The quirky Whitechapel area is like that second-hand shop, which is still called 'second-hand' instead of 'vintage' only because the hipsters haven't found it. YET! It's only a matter of time, and it shouldn't take long because instead of a new kebab shop there's a Dirty Burger restaurant and even the Old Royal Hospital has been sold with intentions to build the new East End town hall. The area has its own sort of vibe and it hides a precious gem that is my favourite cinema of all - GENESIS.
Surprisingly cheap tickets lead my boyfriend and I to Genesis a while ago (only £4.50 Mondays!); then, it became our cherished ongoing Monday tradition for more than a year. There's something about the GENESIS cinema that creates this relaxing, no-fuss experience that always means that I do like Mondays!
