My day in the V&A
Just wonderful
Some time ago I went to the Victoria & Albert Museum in South Kensington to visit the British design Expo and I also had a chance to cross to the Lolitas.Fashions. It is so big that I did not have time to take advantage and make a complete tour of the V&A – an absolutely free Museum of art and design (don't forget the donation on the way out.)
The Museum contains over 3 000 years of artefacts from the world's richest crops, including ceramics, furniture, fashion items, glass pieces, jewellery, metal objects, photographs, sculptures and textiles. In short, it is the ideal place to go to get lost or get educated on the days of bad weather, as we have had in recent weeks...
But if it is good to go to the V&A it is also the opportunity to enjoy its superb interior short and to relax on the grass cutting on the terrace of the café . Coffee which is a bit too pricey for my liking, but I guess we must pay the price… The Victoria & Albert Museum is open daily from 10 am to 17h45 and the closest tube station is Knightsbridge. The museum is divided into themes and time-zones and is (probably) the largest Museum of art and design in the world. I loved it!
