Vintage in Portobello

Since September 2008 this vintage shop has been located at the end of the famous Portobello Road. Number 282 provides classic antique quality vintage clothing in leather, tweed, fur, and recycled wax and is one of the best vintage stores in London. There are tail coats, ballgowns, and quality footwear. The clothes come from traditional England designs from over the centuries.

The stock is well organised and specialises in work, military, naval, sports, classic tailoring and country attire from the early to mid 20th century.

History

Claudia Vispi who is the co-owner of 282 portobello road , grew up in Chelsea and started to work in a Television production company but they were never interested in her work - apparently only interested about what she wore. this took a different turn when she met her husband who worked in fashion and a store was born.

By London Underground the shop is located near the Ladbroke Grove station which deserved by the Circle and Hammersmith lines
By London Bus the shop is closed to the station “Ladgroke Grove (Stop A) “ (7,23,52,70,228,452)
