All you need under one glass roof

Founders of Westfield Corporation, John Saunders and Frank Lowy, pioneered one of the world`s leading global shopping centre organisations in 1959. Westfield`s original retail establishment was sited in Sydney, Australia, and became the initial franchise of an international chain. It developed during the period which shopping centres just began to emerge in Australia, and Westfield was described as `the most modern American-type combined retail outlet`, benefiting the company`s foundation, reputation and financial growth. Ever since, the acclaimed company substantiates its growing success through the 34 Westfield shopping destinations across the United States and Europe, providing 6,480 retail outlets, and attracting approximately 400 million customer visits.

Westfield Corporation launched United Kingdom`s first branch in October 2008, identified as Westfield London. The 150,000 sq. ft. complex is one of the largest shopping malls in Europe and is London’s most popular shopping and leisure destination, enticing an annual customer visit of 27,300,000. It provides a memorable retail experience with combining the luxury of food, fashion, leisure and entertainment, and offers concierge services, events, music, cinema, gym, and 368 retailers, including over 60 eateries, and reputable anchor stores Debenhams, Next, Marks and Spencer and House of Fraser. The contemporary building features a transparent glass panelled roof, created in correlation to the movement of the sun to enhance the natural light that filters the building, appearing larger in scale and creating a bright airy shopping atmosphere.
