The Black Lion is one of the oldest pubs in Plaistow, east London and is listed in the CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) Good Beer Guide, the London Pub Guide. They are also accredited by Casque Marque and provide a fine selection of real and premium quality beers which complements a fine selection of wines, spirits, and specialist whiskies.

All the normal sporting events are screen on TV here.

Eating and Drinking

Food is served Monday to Friday 12am to 2:30pm and 5pm to 7:30pm in the evenings, except bank holidays. All food is home made with fresh seasonal quality ingredients.

How to get there

The best way to get there is to take the Discrit or Hammersmith & City and get off at Plaistow and then you have to walk 4 minutes.

This is a comfy place to drink a high quality beer, eat something home made and watch a sport event on the TV. It's a friendly atmosphere.
