PIN Cartoon Museum
London`s first cartoon museum
After having spent hours in the British Museum you might be looking for something smaller with perhaps a little less pottery. Just one block away is the Cartoon Museum with a small collection of comics and cartoons and a rotating list of exhibits so you can keep coming back and see something you haven’t seen before. This list includes Alice in Sunderland, essay’s on Cartoonist Searle’s work, and pieces from private London clubs. It is £7.00 for adults or £5.00 for students. Make sure to check out the store in the front too for anything from books about the history of political comics in Britain to Batman posters and notebooks. After you`re done with this museum you might want to think about heading over to the Camera Museum and enjoy a cup of coffee surrounded by camera`s from various decades.
How to get there
From the Piccadilly line get off at Holborn station. Once out of the station walk straight, following signs for the British Museum but instead of turning onto Museum Street walk up one more street to Little Russel Street where you will find the museum.
