PIN Freemasons` Hall

A place in history

Completed in 1933, Freemason`s Hall is a memorial to Freemasons who died in the First World War. It is a building rich in history and architectural details. Visitors, whether they are members of the public or Freemasons, can explore the Hall’s impressive ceremonial areas, from the Grand Officers’ Robing Room to the Shrine and the Grand Temple on the first floor. The tour also offers an opportunity to see some of the Grand Lodge’s collection of portraits of royalty associated with Freemasonry, including George VI.

TripTide thoughts

I think it's an interesting place to visit because it has a really nice architecture and you can learn a lot of things about Freemasons, which is a really mysterious and intriguing subject. Also it's not a crowded place so it makes it easier to visit.

How to get there

You can access to the museum in less than 10 minutes from Holborn and Covent Garden tube stations or Drury Lane, Holborn and Kingsway bus stations. You can also park your car in one of the nearby streets.

"An interesting place "

This museum is a great place if you're interested or just intrigued by Freemasonry. It's a nice place where you can see painting of famous freemasons or objects such as jewelries or rewards. Yet, it's a bit small so the visit is really short.
