PIN The Gennaro Delicatessen

Lewisham`s Finest Deli

This place is fully loaded Italian delicatessen where you can buy a huge selection of local cake, pasta, cheese, and lots other things. You can also, `eat in` or `take away`. Customers enjoy a large choice of Italian favourites.

The owner, Antonio has love for his country`s food and found the perfect opportunity to share his love and passion with others. If you go there you will receive a warming welcome.

History

Gennaro delicatessen was found in 1982 by an Italian couple whose the dream was to open their own shop and offer people authentic Italian produce. Founder Antonio came to London in 1998 and started from a 'pot-washer' in a restaurant when he quickly was promoted to chef and then took the plunge and opened Gennaro.

How to get there

The best way to get there is to take the DLR to Lewisham and then a N199 bus number and get off in Lewisham Town Centre. The delicatessen is a short distance away.

Triptide Thoughts
