Geo. F. Trumper is one of London’s oldest barbers and has been shaving the whiskers of the locals since 1875. It has remained largely unchanged since that time and its dark mahogany interior, private cubicles and traditional wet shave area has barely changed since then. This is a no-frills gentleman’s hairdressers but there are plenty of perfumes and aftershave on display that is all part of the heritage – all the way down to their lime-scented concoctions presented in the very same shade of pink paper since the second world war. In addition to their Curzon Street flagship, they have another branch in York Street.
