PIN The Greenwich Theatre

Greenwich Theatreland

The Greenwich Theatre is a place where artists create their magic onstage. There are a lot of different shows and plenty of variety including science events, magic events, theatre and musical shows. Performers can hire costumes from an extensive selection amateur or professional productions.

The theatre can seat 400 people which can be hired for a specific event. And if you are an experienced producer you can hire the theatre to make your show with all the sound and lighting equipment.

History

The theatre is over 150 years old. In 1871 the new owners rebuilt the building and opened it to perform musical shows. It was called Crowders Music Hall and subsequently the Theatre of Varieties. In 2010 the theatre made its production debut at the New End Theatre in Hampstead

How to get there

The best way to get there is to take the bus number 135 and get off at Island Gardens Station and then walk 19 minutes to find the theatre.
