Islington Theatre Pub

The King`s Head is a place where you can eat, drink and see some great theatre. Eat before the show and a few drinks in this trendy and eclectic pub in Upper Street in Islington. They are best known for being the first theatre pub since Shakespearean times when the theatre was founded in 1970. The theatre is in the back in this Victorian pub and customers can also enjoy great drinks in front of a roaring fire. From Thursday to Sundays, there are bands playing all sorts of music inside the bar - Wednesday is quiz night from 8:30pm.

How to get there

Take the Northern Line and get off at Angel, you have to walk 9 minutes to get there or take a number 38 or 341 bus and get off at St Mary's Church and walk 2 minutes.
