PIN Mangal 2

Hackney`s Taste of Turkey

The Mangal is a brasserie and Turkish restaurant located in the centre of Hackney. Ali Dirik, the owner was a chef in Istanbul who moved to London in 1987 to open his first restaurant and the first of its kind - the Mangal Ocakbasi. In the following years, the Mangal made its own reputation and the owner decided to create another one: the Mangal 2. The second one is now the local favourite because of its larger seats capacity and localisation.

Both restaurant propose a delivery service to their customer

Triptide thoughts

Really good place to delighted some Turkish food in a very traditional and friendly atmosphere

How to get there

By the overground, the Mangal is 3 minute walk from Dalston Kingsland station.

By the bus, Crossway Kingsland High Street, Shecklewell Lane Dalston and Rio Cinema stops are a stone's throw from the brasserie

By car - it is better to park directly on Kingsland High Street
