PIN Primrose Hill
One of the most beautiful viewpoints in North London
Primrose Hill is a hill of some 213 feet where you can enjoy a clear view of Central London. A wonderful place for viewing in comparative quiet it is particularly popular in summer months. The hill is a well known destination for local people of all ages taking their picnics and enjoying the wide open space and panoramic views over London
History
Like Regent's Park, this area was once part of the 'great chase', appropriated by Henry VIII. Primrose Hill, was purchased from Eton College in 1841 to extend the parkland available to the commoners of North London for open-air recreation. It is one of the six protected viewpoints in London.
Triptide Thoughts
Beautiful park and a famously outstanding view, really good place to enjoy on your own or with family and friends.
How to get there
The best way to get there, is by going to the London Zoo bus stop and from there it's 1 minute walk.
