A shop specialising in bi-cycles and related items for Men and Women , Rapha is the professional cycling shop with a good quality of clothes and a technology to suits all performance.. It is no understatement that the shop has something of a cult status these days for enthusiasts looking to kit themselves out in the very latest cycling designs and hi tech equipment. Ther is also a café are showing live cycling events and glass topped tables featuring cycling memorabilia.They have also a Rapha Cycle Club with organised rides every week - it’s more social than competitive.

History

Founded by Simon Mottram in 2004 it was launched with a month-long exhibition in East London’s Old Truman Brewery . It was inspired by six heroes from cycling’s golden era and beyond : Fausto Coppi , Jacques Anquetil , Raymond Poulidor , Tom Simpson , Eddy Mercks and Bernard Hinault. These heroes continue to provide a fertile source of inspiration for Rapha’s design.
