The Unique Ronnie Scotts

Ronnie Scott`s Jazz Club , as its name suggest, is a famous Jazz club in vibrant Soho. Each week, the club receives musicians and artists from all around the world and provides some wild live jazz. It`s a great place to go with family and friends especially on Sundays where kids menus and concessions are available and, for the older, the bar upstairs serves all kind of cocktails, wine and alcohol

History

Ronnie Scott was a tenor saxophonist who shared the dream of opening a Jazz club and his passion for jazz music with his close friend Pete King. This ambition appeared and gathered momentum when Ronnie went to America as a 2à year old saxophonist and spent his trip going around New York visiting jazz clubs where he heard about the most influential and gifted saxophonists of the '40's like Charlie Parker. In 1959, their wishes were finally fulfilled thanks to Ronnie's stepfather who gave him thousand pounds to launched the Club
