PIN The Castle

Pentonville pub with an interesting past

The Castle is located in the middle of Pentonville Street and enjoys a reputation for being one of the cosiest and homeliest pubs in Islington. The pub serves a delicious array of classic British gastro-pub food that for all tastes, and there is a wide selection of drinks ranging from ales, beers on tap and fine wines.

On Sundays there is a the normal fayre of roast but the daily menu has a focus on burgers to please the most jaundiced of appetites - plenty of other stuff is available too.

The Castle is great venue for a nice quiet meal or a lively Saturday night. There is a great roof terrace that sets it apart from other pubs in the area. It is a real hot with the locals and provides a antidote to many visitors expectation of a typical London Pub.

p.s. the pub was also host to the planning of the Hatton garden jewellery heist
