The World’s Leading Museum of Contemporary design.

The Design Museum located in Kensington exhibits design products, industrial, graphic, fashion and architectural designs. All the funds generated by ticket sales allow the museum to create new exhibitions. The museum`s permanent collection display is free to enter although the `extra` exhibitions are charged for.

History

Founded in 1989 by Sir Terence Conran the museum was originally a former banana warehouse.

The best way to get there, is by going to the High Street Kensington tube Station and from there it's 7 minutes walk.
