History

This is a well-established Greenwich watering hole, perched on a street corner near St Alfege’s Church, The Mitre was built over 300 years ago and originally traded as café. It survived some damage during WW2 and has since been lovingly restored. The building is now a UNESCO heritage site with listed status.
