PIN London Rockin` Rollers

London`s Roller Derby League

London Rockin` Rollers are a roller derby league based in London, boasting two travel teams, three intraleague home teams, a recreational league and regular Fresh Meat programmes. They also have a full Referee crew and run an occasional Ref School too!
As one of the oldest leagues in Europe, the London Rockin’ Rollers are true pioneers of the sport, playing the UK’s first Interleague scrimmage with the Birmingham Blitz Dames and Europe’s first Interleague bout against Stuttgart Valley Roller Girlz.

More recently, three Rockin’ Rollers and one Referee played and officiated at the first ever Roller Derby World Cup in 2011 and a whopping 10 Rockin’ Rollers participated for their national teams at the second World Cup in 2014. For anyone watching the London 2012 Olympic Opening Ceremony you could spot 13 Rockin’ Rollers dressed as roller skating NHS nurses (and one dementor) and they have featured in many media articles, documentaries, photo shoots, music videos, live events and more! They also organise lessons for anyone who wants to try their hand.

For more information on when and where they are performing look out for their events. They perform regularly at the Newham Leisure Centre.
