The Ship is a great old pub that serves `craft pizza`. They have a large quality range of spirits, wines, beers, and plenty soft drinks. If you want to stay longer, there are a number rooms and continental breakfast served in the room which can be booked online. Definitely one of the best pubs in the area, and a haven for lovers of beer and quality stone banked pizzas

It is close from Canary Wharf that makes the Ship the perfect place to visit London without the unwelcome frills of the usual tourist hot spots.

The name comes from 1854/1858 when the largest iron ship, the SS Great Eastern, was constructed just next to the place where the pub is today

How to get there

Take the DLR Lewisham and get off at Mudchute then walk 15 minutes to get there, or take a bus number 277 or D7 and get off at Maconochies Road.
