The Great Britain’s Sprint
The London-Surrey Classic also called Prudential RideLondon-Surrey Classic is a one-day race on London and Britain’s roads. The event is divided on two days in different spirit.
The Saturday 28th is reserved for free riders, amateurs or not who want to enjoy a free road cycling in the 8 miles circuit in London’s streets. The route ride along such top landmarks such as Waterloo Bridge or Victoria Embakment and along it, sevem festival zones are open at strategic point (St Paul’s yard, Green Park...) and will welcome in music thousands of people. The circuit is supervised with a huge team of bike doctors, hydration checkpoints and led bikers in each boroughs to rythm and accompany everybody during the day. The London-Surrey Classic provide rent bike for the day for the interested who doesn’t have what they need.
The festivities end on Sunday 29th, letting place for racing. The participants will go for a 120 miles ride, starting from St James’s Park to go through Surrey passing by Box Hill and finishing at The Mall. Since the first edition in 2011 coordinate by the team leaders of the London Marathon and Tour of Britain, the country is ahead of victories counting 2 from the first editon and victory of the famous English sprinter Mark Cavendish and the one of Adam Blythe in 2014
