New Year’s Eve is celebrated around the world and comes the time for new resolutions. But in London, each first January, people take to London’s streets to welcome with everyone the new year.
The London New Year’s Day Parade is a 2 mile charity tour, uniting millions of people, marching bands, scouts and many more. The 2019 Parade will be held between Piccadilly, close to Green Park tube station, and spread over London passing by Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square and ending in Parliament Street.
To access the Parade route and it’s hot spots by the tube, Green Park, Piccadilly Circus, Embankment or St James’s Park are the closest stations. By the bus, St Martin’s Place, Hyde Park Corner, Oxford Circus stops are nearby the route and will be open during the parade.
