Wimbledon is one of the most prestigious tennis tournament and also the oldest. This Grand Slam is watching around the world by 300 million tennis amateurs and welcome almost 500 000 visitors whose some of them are camping in Wimbledon Park to miss nothing of the competition. There are four Grand Slam during a year (Australian Open, Rolland Garros, Wimbledon and the US Open) and win one of them bring glory and prestige to the winner, also a large score of point in the tennis championship.
Wimbledon is a particular ruled tournament, including a strict dress code for the players to respect the traditional elegant spirit . They’re all wearing white clothes and even accessories from a Victorian tradition. The non-respect of the dress code can be ban from the competition.
The most famous players as Roger Federer and his 8 Wimbledon’s trophies, Raphaël Nadal, Andy Murray confront each other to become the Wimbledon Master Court and mark the sport history on the famous grass.
The Championships Wimbledon was found in 1877 by the private All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club. Originally, only the men’s single were played and the first tournament was won by a 27 years old British racket player Spencer William Gore
