Spring Comes to St James's Park
A hidden jewel in Westminster
Today, after a meeting in another part of town, I took the bus to St James Park. The Park is unquestionably a beautiful place. Before I even started to visit the park I bought myself a sandwich because I was very hungry. After eating I continued my walk in this park. I have so many things to say about this park, it is very colourful, there are a lot of birds and even games for children. You can also have a snack if you are hungry, in fact you will find many snacks to have here and there are hot and cold drinks to be had. I really enjoyed walking in this park. This place is very soothing, coming from France, more exactly to Cannes, I am not used to walk in such big parks as this one. I think it's really nice to walk in a park, whether you are with family, friends or lovers, this place is ideal. The multiple benches that I saw during my walk allow us to land, they are facing the lake that crosses the park. I also saw some nice daffodils. The park was full of them. They had very pretty colours. There were also many birds and especially pelicans, geese... I also took a chocolate brownie that I ate on a bench facing the lake looking at the different animals that were there. After having walked around the park I went home by subway very satisfied with my day. Spring seems to have finally arrived and the flowers and plants are about to explode into colour.
