Cyberdog, Camden

Unleash your inner dog

Cyberdog is a strange, vibrant store in the middle of Camden, guarded by two large robots at either side of its entrance. As soon as you enter you’re introduced to an alternate reality where everything glows in the dark and neon lights reign king. It’s more a novelty store than anything, but without anything else like it – at least, nothing I’ve been introduced to in my four years of exploring – it doesn’t need to be.

You have the craziest clothing you can imagine – perfect for partying, because where else could you go that glow-in-the dark, out-of-this-world clothing is not only cool, but socially acceptable? Though, considering the metropolis that is London, you’d be hard pressed to not find every possible style. It’s fun to snoop around in, to wonder at all the interesting things they try to entice you with. The store is massive, and, for the adults among my readers, they have a very fun XXX section way in the back. They occasionally have dancers on a landing above your head as you enter, too, which certainly adds to the grand welcome, and nothing for sale will break the bank, either. Looking for a great, different souvenir for your friends back home? Here’s the place to get it. If you’re going just for the novelty, that’s fine too! Make a day of it and visit Camden and all its markets, there are so many twists and turns, you’d be hard pressed to be bored with the place.

You might stumble upon Cyberdog on your own, or perhaps you’ll make a point to see it. Everything glows throughout, and whether it’s just for amusement or something catches your eye, all aspects of this store amount to a shopping stop you shouldn’t miss.
