Getting The Most Out Of The Hard Rock Cafe
Of Ribs and Tips
You might know this brand because of the famous tee-shirts that everyone wears. But it's actually more than just a simple clothe brand.
Last week, I went to the restaurant with my friends near Green Park. At first I was doubtful because I'm not a big fan of meat like ribs (their speciality), and guess what ? I ate the whole thing even though there was a lot of other food in my plate.
It may be expensive for some people (about £20), but the quality of the service, of the food, and of the ambience are definitely worth the cost.
Here's a few advises I'd like to share if you want to spend a memorable meal without ruining your bank account.
1- Reservation : Hard Rock Cafe is quite famous so if you want to be sure to have a table, make an online free reservation.
2- Temptation : When you arrive, a waiter will greet you and will tell you that free tables haven't been cleaned yet, so you'll have to wait near the bar. Don't succumb to the temptation of grabbing a beer !
3- Water : If you want water, be sure to precise that you want a "jug of water" because otherwise the waiter will bring you a 50ml glass bottle that will cost you £3.25.
Bonus : The waiter will open it right before you realize what's in front of your eyes (and you can't abject the product once it's opened/used).
4- Tips : Usually tips are given straight to the waiter. But in Hard Rock Cafe, tips will be automatically charged as you pay your note (even if you don't want to give tips). But like I said before, the service is perfect so it's not a waste of money.
In conclusion, I would say that Hard Rock Cafe is highly recommanded for people who loves music from the 70's and 80's (rock, pop-rock, disco...) and who enjoys some great french fries with BBQ ribs (or hamburger, but that's not their speciality, remember !)
