Hyde Park - Festival Park
British Summertime 2017 !
Since 2013, British Summer Time Hyde Park has consistently welcomed some of the biggest names in music to the iconic outside area in central London. This year Hyde Park welcomes headliners Phil Collins, Green Day, Justin Bieber, Kings of Leon, The Killers, and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers.
I went to the Justin Bieber show on the 2nd of July, he was joined by multiple artists like Naughty Boy, Tove Lo, Jain, Anne Marie, and Martin Garrix. There were surprise Guest like Kyla and Dua Lipa.
So this huge festival started at 1pm, there were a large choice of food, from British, German, American to French, Spanish and Italian ! I started with a classic cheese burger for the lunch at Holy Cow stand.
For the drinks, cans of zero coke were distributed all the time - so was the water and it was free - unfortunately not so the beers ! The good point is that there were bars and restaurant almost everywhere in the park, so I didn't have to walk a lot from the stage.
Shops of T shirts and accessories were open to keep a memory of the event, and a lot of little activities for the kids and the adults were free - it was a lot a fun ! Little games were proposed to win tickets for next year.
So the show began at 2pm with Jain, and we could see that the rest of the afternoon and the night was going to be epic ! My favourite moment were with Martin Garrix, he was amazing and brings passion effortlessly. Justin Bieber was also brilliant and I loved all the artists who performed and enjoyed the best concert of my life for sure. Already thinking about going back to the British Summertime next year.
