In love with music

London and its music is a very long story. There are simply loads of concerts and musical events and London has become the place to enjoy and listen to all kinds of music. Whenever you are, even in a park, in the street or lunching in a restaurant, music is everywhere. Therefore it is easy for visitors to London to find music. What's more, the diversity is remarkable and really appreciated by tourists and Londoners.

There are some monuments to music in London for both stars and unknown artists. For example the Marquee Club, a famous concert place, the 100 club or even at 23 Heddon Street where David Bowie introduced his famous character Ziggy Stardust.

London is also part of the legend of some iconic English boys bands. Most of them started singing in pubs or in the street and became famous thanks to their exposing their talent in the English capital. Many of Britain's artists have marked a generation with their music and are still part of the beating heart of that generation.The music is part of the DNA of numerous London square which show their musical heritage to the world by establish some great music shops and spots paricularly Soho, Kensington or even Chelsea where The Rolling Stones used to hangout. Part of North London, Camden Town is a point of reference for pubs and bars where The Pink Floyd or Travis Blur have performed.

Some places have received blue plaques marking the place where the greatest artists, musicians, painters and writers have dwelt, and are part of London's history.
