My day out in Hammersmith
A surprising amount of things to do
Hammersmith is a district located in west London, and this is a very active and interesting district.
I had a day exploring Hammersmith and it was a great experience.I saw many principal interesting places: the Apollo and Lyric theatres and the famous (and intimate) Dove Pub.
I had sandwiches in the beautiful Ravenscourt Park (I recommend highly recommend it) from where I could observe plenty of local 'goings on'. I finished my story on the Hammersmith bridge, an incredible and ancient metal bridge - where a short walk took me back to my lodgings in Putney.
If you are interested of theatre and/or concerts Hammersmith will be a great experience for you and all your family. Hammersmith is also a paradise for Pubs, you can find here some of the most iconic pubs of London. You can also finish your journey relaxing in the Park or taking a stroll along the banks of the Thames. Enjoy this bit of hidden London
