The venue is a place where visitors have been celebrating the arts in London since opening in 2004 and every year, over 140,000 people are welcomed who come to watch, learn or be inspired. A vibrant programme of performances and exhibitions is always available, which seeks to surprise and thrill audiences of all ages.







The Artsdepot has won a huge number of awards such as Best Age Friendly Welcome award at the 2018 Fantastic For Families Awards, Best Family Venue of 2017 award at the Family Arts Festival Awards and Best Independent Cultural Venue award at the Dot London Awards 2016.

What to expect

Artsdepot works with some of the most exciting visiting companies and artists around to showcase a range of theatre styles from popular West End transfers to experimental and contemporary drama, profiling the work of new and emerging artists at events such as the depot untapped festival. This art centre has worked with companies including Scarlet, Graeae, Kali, Tara Arts, Half Moon, The Reduced Shakespeare Company, Tamasha, Kazzum, Pilot and many more.

Regular shows for children and their families can be found in this London arts centre on most Sundays and during half term with companies like Tam Tam, Little Angel, Obelon Arts and Tall Stories. Children's performances feature everything from puppets to live stand-up comedy especially for kids. Each year artsdepot produces its own Christmas show. In 2006 artsdepot is excited to be working with Pilot Theatre to present The Twits by Roald Dahl.

Artsdepot also has regular comedy nights with stars such as Gina Yashere, Lucy Porter, Mark Thomas, John Hegley and Felix Dexter and Jongleurs artists.

How to get there

By Underground:
Artsdepot is between West Finchley, Finchley Central and Woodside Park stations on the Northern Line (High Barnet branch).

Visiting Artsdepot for the first time? It’s easier to find your way if you get off at Finchley Central and catch a bus (125, 82 or 460) along Ballards Lane to North Finchley. Allow 20 minutes for this leg of your journey.

Walking from Finchley Central takes around 25 minutes.
Walking from West Finchley and Woodside Park takes around 20 minutes.

By Bus:
North Finchley Bus Station is next to artsdepot. Many buses run through the station or stop nearby.

Car Parks
There are several pay and display car parks nearby (see downloadable map). For Stanhope Road, Castle Road, Woodside Park & Lodge Lane allow 30 minutes to park and make your way to the theatre.

Street Parking:
The streets around artsdepot are part of a controlled parking zone. Please allow time to register for cashless parking.

Drop Off
To make things a little easier disabled or elderly visitors, and their carers, can be dropped off outside artsdepot before you park.
