PIN Bunhill Fields Burial Ground

Famous resting place in Whitecross Village

Bunhill Fields Burial Ground is an ancient cemetery in City of London with around 120,000 people buried here. Most of the departed are non-conformists and the cemetery was closed permanently for new burials in the 1850s. People visit the grave-yard to investigate headstones of many of the well-known people who are buried here; Isaac Watts and William Blake lie here. Today it is also a place to relax and enjoy the public garden.
