PIN Crown and Cushion

Thai food, live boxing and decent beer

By far and away the best thai place and pub in Waterloo

Drinking and Dining

“No frills” could have been invented for this Sarf (South) London Boozer (Pub). It holes up just at the start of the Westminister Bridge Rd close to the railway bridge and although Olde Worlde Charme is definitely not part of its DNA. Proper beer, good service, a decent WIFI signal and a family run Thai restaurant on the second floor are part of its feature list – as are live bands on occasion. If you want Sky Sports it also boasts prominent TV screens which gets the locals revved up for the big games. It’s quite handy for Waterloo Station and sits opposite the (river) end of the Cut. A very handy stop on the way back from the Imperial War Museum
