PIN Clapham Books

Clapham is a beautiful part of London which has many things to offer for a great day out. Clapham Common Park, surrounded by cosy cafes, bars and restaurants hides a little white independent bookshop called Clapham Books on Pavement Street. You can find a great selection of Penguin Classics, fashion books and a big children’s section on the first floor. Clapham Books is not trendy or over decorated – it is simple and feels like home.

A personal touch is what makes an independent bookshop unique and worth visiting. Every book in Clapham Books is handpicked by owners.

EVENTS

Thursdays at 11am and Saturdays at 11:30 Clapham Books offers free readings for children.

POND GALLERY FRAMING

There’s a prints and framing service downstairs, run by Pond Gallery. Pond Gallery use conservation and acid-free materials creating traditional and contemporary frames.

How to get there

Get off at Clapham Common underground station and walk along the Clapham Common Park on the right hand side (if you see a skate park – you’re going the wrong way). By the little pond on the Pavement Street, you will see a lovely white bookshop - Clapham Books.
