In the day it is a cafe, and at night a bar and you are also able to shop gifts and homewares from independent designers. As well as being able to buy vintage furniture, wall paper and even a teaspoon!

In the day, an array of sandwiches, pastries, cakes, homemade salads and seasonal soups and stews are sold. There is also the option to go for the Bottomless Brunch and Afternoon Tea.

At night, it turns into a bar, with a DJ on Friday and Saturday night on both floors (did I mention they have a proper dance floor!)

It is also a very popular destination for brides to be in their Hen Do. You can also spoil your bride-to-be with their special Hen Party Decorations filled with beautiful bunting, party poppers, temporary tattoos and hats!

They have cool events constantly changing all time (which can be viewed on their website), an example of an event is; Buffy the Papier Mache Vampire Slayer!

What Triptide loves about this place, is its unique quirkiness and how it serves as multi-functional and is a big hit in both areas! What is so delightful is the way it was started; by 2 friends who have been friends since school who wanted to combine their crazy ideas under one roof and they did just that! It became official by August 2010! They constantly have new crazy ideas, that makes DSD continuously even better!
