PIN Lutong Pinoy

The 'OG' Filipino Restaurant of Earl's Court

Lutong Pinoy is an original Filipino restaurant is based in Earls Court, West London The restaurant has been open since 1996 and has operated from the same location for 24 years where it serves original dishes from the Philippines. Filipino cuisine is a fusion of Chinese, Spanish and American cuisine and a visit to 'Lutong Pinoy' gives visitors a taste of the best of the east and the west under one roof.
There are three ways to order food. The first is the famous 'Kamayan' which means to eat 'by hand'. Customers need to tell the restaurant how many people are coming and then choose four meals. Soup and rice are provided. There is also a buffet or if you can't find what there's also an ‘a la carte’ where customers can find their specific favourites like Pancit, Kare-Kare, and many more.

This is a family-run business, where the owner and manager Mario Malata provides customers with a highly original experience. He chose to open his shop in Earl's Court as there was a vibrant Filipino community living close by and wanted to give them a ‘taste of home”. His decision complemented the growth of a thriving Filipino neighbourhood and visitors to London can also get a taste for local cuisine and culture in ‘Filipino Town’ as Earls Court is sometimes known. Lutong Pinoy has become an iconic hub for Filipin cuisine as the crowded restaurant will attest to. The area, now home to the famous Jollibee restaurant since 2018, serving an array of local staples can also be found close by.
