A Puppet Theatre Afloat

It is a charming floating theatre, specifically marionette theatre! It holds 55 seats and has all the features of a modern theatre!

With the aim of raising the status of marionette, it is constantly running new shows with new scripts. It also reaches out to schools, influencing children all around the UK.

Shows are constantly changing depending on the season, and are definitely family friendly, so perfect for a family day out!

How to get there

By tube: a 3 minute walk from Warwick Avenue (on Bakerloo Line.)
You exit the station and walk up to the traffic lights, then turn right into Blomfield Road and you will see the barge on your left opposite No 35, walk along the railings to the gate (opp. no 40) and back on yourself along the towpath to the barge.

By train: a 15 minute walk from Paddington. The footbridge over the platforms (near the end of the station furthest from the main concourse) connects to the canal towpath - follow the signs to "Sheldon Square" or "Paddington Central". To find the footbridge from the main concourse, walk along Platform 1 or Platform 8.

By car:
Parking is available in the area. At weekends there is no charge. On weekdays parking spaces must be paid for by mobile phone by pre - arrangement with Westminster Council. Electric cars are free on normal parking spaces.

By bus:
Bus routes 6, 46, 187, 414,18,16, 98, 332 and 159.
