There is always an excellent range of award winning real ales including Spitfire, Masterbrew, Kent’s Best as well as a selection of seasonal and guest ales.

During the blitz bombings of World War II the pub survived miraculously undamaged while most of the surrounding area was flattened.

"Great afternoon in the sunshine"

Good selection of Whitstable bay ales. friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere. The beer garden is amazing and butts up against the church garden so it seems even bigger!
