PIN The Castle Climbing Centre

A little bit about the experience.

Whether you have a lot of experience or not, The Castle Climbing Centre offers classes for beginners and for advanced climbers.

The centre was opened in 1995, and has grown, and now extends through to 5 floors! There is over 450 roped and lead routes, each with different surfaces to suit different levels and preferences! :)

It also is available for private hire, and has worked with many big organisations such as BBC, ITV and The Times. As well as with charities; Macmillan Cancer, KPMG, Warner Bros and HopeHIV.

Focus on SUSTAINABILITY & EFFICIENCY

The climbing centre also has a real focus on sustainability. Making fun responsible!

The cafe, has all its food sourced organically and/or being fairtrade. There is a Castle GARDEN that promotes this plight, where it grows food for the cafe, to promote sustainability and efficient use of resources.

So it is definitely worth checking out its garden, which has a wildlife pond, mini plots for the members & local community, forest garden with fruit and nut trees as well as natural beekeeping hives and a glasshouse!
